Opal appears as a very short young man with fair skin, with choppy, short-length hair of varying colors of grayish blonde mixed with grayish light blue and grayish light pink and reminiscent of light reflected by an Opal gemstone.
Opal wears a black fedora with a pearlescent hatband connected by two gold decorations chained together. He wears a three-piece suit consisting of a white dress shirt with a high white collar and white long sleeves, complete with cuffs at the end and a gold-colored necktie, a black vest with four golden buttons and various golden accents and details, and a larger black coat with golden accents and large sleeves that drap.
