Haruaki Abe is a Japanese teacher at Hyakki Academy who's best known for being kind of a mess—timid, inexperienced, and prone to eccentric behavior that doesn't exactly scream "authority figure." He's got this weird fixation on school uniforms that fans definitely notice, and he's instantly recognizable thanks to the ahoge (that one stubborn strand of hair) sticking straight up from his head.
What gives him actual credentials is his bloodline: he's descended from Abe no Seimei, a legendary onmyoji from the Heian era. Whether that helps or hurts his credibility as a teacher is probably up for debate. Either way, Haruaki seems like the kind of guy who means well but probably shouldn't be left alone with a lesson plan.
