Lambda Chop is an AI-powered robot created by Professor Shoichirou Edogawa, who runs the Resort Hotel AI up in Wakkanai—Japan's northernmost region. The bot was built to handle guest services at the resort until the pandemic forced things to shut down.
Now Lambda works as a personal butler for Akira and his group. It's partly a way to make up for the guests' disappointing stay at the resort, and partly to free up the other AIs so they can actually get repairs done on the place. Lambda's still technically on leave from the hotel, but keeps plenty busy helping out the crew.
