Konrad von Modell
Konrad was the last surviving member of the Modell family after the Imperial Civil War wiped out the rest of his line. His father had been Imperial Viscount Modell, which gave him some standing, but the war changed everything.
When the conflict broke out, Konrad was still a student. He'd been assigned to work as a cabin boy at Garmisch Fortress, but he never made it there. The transport ship carrying him got attacked by allied forces under Wilhelm von Littenheim's command, and he would've been lost at sea if the Kircheis Fleet hadn't pulled him out in time.
