Khun Aguero Agnis is a Regular and one of Bam's closest friends. He comes from the Khun family, one of the 10 Great Families, though he's essentially an outcast—technically a "defected son" of Khun Edahn after his older sister failed to become a Princess of Jahad. Rather than accept his exile quietly, Khun raided the family treasury and decided to climb the Tower instead.
He's best known for being the group's strategist. As a Light Bearer, Khun shows real aptitude with lighthouses and generally relies on cunning and planning rather than raw power. He partners up with Bam and Rak early on, and the three become mainstays of the story. Fans often note that Khun's levelheaded approach balances out the more aggressive personalities around him.
