She's spent basically her whole life in an orphanage, where fighting skills were just part of the standard curriculum—not exactly your typical childhood. By the time she's old enough to matter, her older twin brother forces her to enroll at Shishiku Private Academy, easily the roughest school in the area, so he doesn't have to deal with it himself. She takes his place instead, which means she's suddenly thrust into a school full of delinquents with nothing but her combat training and whatever street smarts an orphanage can teach you.
