Shirahama Honoka is Kenichi's younger sister and genuinely cares about him—though she's constantly competing with Miu for his attention. She has short brown hair like her brother but without the bangs, and usually wears striped shirts, school uniforms, or dresses. Miu thinks she's adorable, though Honoka actually looks even younger than her age suggests.
She's a sweet, friendly kid who loves watching Kenichi train and worries about how hard he pushes himself. That said, she's got a mischievous streak—she's followed him to the dojo, broken into his room, and genuinely tried to convince him the training was too brutal and he should come home. She gets jealous of Miu (calling her "Titsy" because of her figure) and convinced that Miu's the only reason Kenichi stays, though that's not really the case. He's training to get stronger and protect the people he cares about.
When she's upset, Honoka doesn't hold back—she'll lose her temper and storm off in tears, like when Kenichi refused to leave the dojo. She's also easily impressed by their father's dramatic antics, especially if they involve Kenichi.
Beyond her brother, Honoka's genuinely close with Apachai and Shigure. She hangs around the dojo regularly now, playing board games with them and teaching them random stuff they never knew—like how to properly make tea, which impressed them both when she first showed them. She's picked up some basic martial arts techniques from watching her mother, but nothing formal.
