One of the most prominent of the Seven Heroes, Glenn is the Emperor's son. He was sent as the imperial envoy to handle the escalating threat posed by Koinzell—a responsibility he took seriously, despite complicated personal history. Back during the Fourteen Lances era, Glenn and Koinzell were actually close friends, but Glenn harbored deep envy toward Ascheriit, whose swordsmanship and composure far outmatched his own.
Glenn understood the gravity of what the Seven Heroes had done—the betrayal was brutal, and he accepted that their punishment was built into their very existence as heroes, forced to carry the weight of the entire Empire on their shoulders, both as nobles and as symbols the people looked up to. When he first confronted Koinzell, he publicly chose mercy and spared him. That mercy didn't last. In their second encounter, Koinzell killed him.
Glenn's death devastated the Emperor so thoroughly that he withdrew from ruling entirely, leaving Lebelont to take control of Szaalenden as its de facto ruler. But Glenn didn't stay dead. He came back in a younger body, bearing the scar from Koinzell's blade—and with him came talk of a mysterious plan to address the weakness in people's hearts. His goals shifted too: he's since renounced his title as one of the Seven Heroes, disbanded his knight company, and set his sights on destroying Lebelont.
Among the Seven Deadly Sins, Glenn embodies Envy. That very envy of Ascheriit, after all, is what drove him to betray the Four in the first place.
