Nanako's the grounded one of the bunch—while her groupmates are caught up in idol stuff, she's the one actually worrying about whether they're getting paid. She became a Locodol kind of unexpectedly when her uncle basically recruited her, and she's been the practical heart of the group ever since.
She's left-handed, which doesn't matter much day-to-day, but there's this running gag where she completely botches her own name during mic checks. She'll stutter through it and somehow turn "Nanako" into "Nanyako" every single time. Fans find it endearingly awkward.
