Atsurou Kawai is a hillclimb racer and head of the Tochigi crew known as Seven Star Leaf. He's a solid driver who relies on grip-based racing techniques, though he doesn't quite match Takeshi Nakazato's level of mastery with that style. His car is tuned to around 400 hp.
He faced off against Keisuke during Project D's initial run through Tochigi.
