Ayaka is the school chairman's daughter and easily the most popular student around—her fans basically call her "Princess." She's a powerful Fire Witch who can manipulate flames and tends to get pretty intense when she's in combat mode.
She's part of the Workshop Witches, a group that runs studios and workshops across major cities to keep tabs on other witches and make sure nobody's abusing their powers. It's basically a peacekeeping operation. Beyond her magic abilities, she's also a skilled hand-to-hand fighter, so she doesn't really need spells to hold her own in a fight.
Ayaka is noticeably taller than Takamiya, and she takes protecting him seriously—like, really seriously. She'll go to extreme lengths to keep him safe, which is pretty much her main priority outside of her Workshop Witch duties.
