Kochou is one of Kousaku Hata's classmates and a member of the "Shitennou," the group of four top farmers at the school. She majors in animal husbandry and goes by the title "Boin Yoshida"—a name that's become something of a running joke, since Hata constantly calls her "Boobies," partly as a play on words and partly because, well, the nickname fits.
She's got a pretty inflated opinion of herself and isn't shy about looking down on everyone else, dismissing most people as vulgar. There are hints scattered throughout that she's got a soft spot for Kei, though she'd probably never admit it outright.
