A top-tier fighter at Kyosho Academy and one of the Three Pillared Gods—the school's legendary trio of A-ranked combatants. Jokou's strength is comparable to his predecessor from 1800 years ago, who once pushed Kanu to her limits in an ancient confrontation.
When Jokou faces Kanu in the present day, he actually manages to land a knockout blow, which catches everyone off guard. Kanu bounces back though and ultimately beats him in their match. Desperate to secure a win, Jokou bluffs about having Seito surrounded and threatens to hunt down Ryubi—a gambit that works. Even though Cho-un is holding down the school and Ryubi has backup, Kanu can't risk her safety and surrenders to keep her protected.
After the Battle of Red Cliffs during Dragon Destiny, the Three Pillared Gods transition from feared warriors into a mountain tourist attraction.
