Gwess
Jolyne's cellmate in Stone Ocean. She starts out as a minor antagonist but becomes neutral and even friendly after Jolyne gets the upper hand.
Gwess has a weird duality to her. On the surface, she seems sweet and harmless—the type who'd keep a "pet" around, talk to it, feed it treats. But the moment it disobeys her, she flips. She's capable of casual cruelty and killing for entertainment, which makes her genuinely unsettling. She's manipulative and willing to trick people, but she's also a coward at heart.
The thing is, she never really understood how Stands work, so after Jolyne defeated her, she pretty much checked out of the action entirely. She'd just read magazines and keep her head down, staying subservient to Jolyne. And when Miu Miu's Jail House Rock got ahold of Jolyne, Gwess became even more withdrawn—quiet and jumpy the whole time.
