B.U.E.R is a massive drilling robot operated by Uzal's company, equipped with a powerful laser cannon. The thing's basically a giant eyeball, which is pretty distinctive—but here's where it gets weird. Its Central Nervous Unit is a separate entity that detaches once the main body powers down, and it takes the form of a five-legged lion creature with a gentlemanly demeanor that doesn't quite match its perverted tendencies. Fans often note that B.U.E.R tends to get smacked around by Clarion whenever it acts out, or gets locked away in a safe-box to prevent Takumi from dissecting it for research. The darkness of confinement seriously messes with its head though.
