Ara is a spear-wielding martial artist from the Haan warrior family in the Northern Empire of Fluone. Her life changed drastically when her brother Aren—now going by Ran—fell under the influence of the Dark El, transformed into a demon, and led an assault that destroyed their entire village.
During that attack, Ara's life was saved by an unexpected discovery: an old family hairpin that held the spirit of a nine-tailed fox named Eun. The spirit emerged to drive back the demons, and the two struck a deal. Eun would lend Ara her powers to help track down Ran, while Ara would search for a strong El capable of freeing Eun from the hairpin once and for all. When Eun awakens fully, her mythical presence melds with Ara—fundamentally changing who she is.
Her search for Ran eventually leads her to Elsword and the El Search Party. With their help, she might actually have a shot at recovering her brother and restoring what was lost.
