Kei is basically a die-hard Handa fan who's taken it to the next level—he's modified pretty much everything about his appearance to look like him. The only thing that really gives him away is his teeth, which he can't seem to change. When he covers the lower half of his face with a mask though, he's convincing enough to fool most people, even Higashino, whose trauma gets so triggered by the resemblance that he actually vomits. It's honestly kind of impressive how far he's willing to go with the whole impersonation thing.
