The protagonist of Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance. Kamito's story kicks off when he accidentally catches Claire bathing in the forest—a moment that somehow results in him becoming her slave spirit. From there, he befriends a whole group of girls at the academy and gets caught up in their drama and training.
His fighting style revolves around the Absolute Blade Arts, a technique with multiple forms that grow increasingly powerful. Early on, he uses Vorpal Blast, firing off jet-black lightning to strike from range. His signature moves include the Purple Lightning of the First Form and techniques like Meteor and Shadowmoon Waltz. As he gets stronger, he unlocks the more devastating Fourth Form (Blazing Slash) and progresses through to his Sixth and Ninth Forms, with the latter being a flashy combination called Bursting Blossom Spiral Blade Dance that chains together sixteen consecutive strikes. His Final Forms serve as counter techniques, with the Double Last Strike version letting him dual wield. He's also picked up a Dual Blade Technique called Orochi, which unleashes countless rapid slashes using short one-handed swords.
