Lena Floria grew up with Light Underwood, but their lives took wildly different turns after they both ate Skill Fruits. She landed the "Sword Saint" skill—absurdly rare—and shot straight to S-Rank adventurer status. Light, meanwhile, got stuck with what looked like a useless ability called "Fruit Master," and the two drifted apart as their fortunes diverged.
Success didn't sit right with Lena, though. Her party, Sacred, had a nasty habit of leaving bodies and destruction in their wake, and she grew tired of their brutality and indifference to collateral damage. Everything changed when Light showed back up. He'd figured out that his supposedly worthless skill actually had serious potential, and he challenged Sacred's leader, Grouse, specifically to get Lena out. Light won, and Lena didn't hesitate—she left Sacred and teamed up with Light and Ayla instead.
The three of them founded Luxeria and hit the road together, bound by the idea that they'd actually try to do things the right way and have each other's backs while doing it.
