Yishimi is one of the imoogis competing in the exam to ascend after his initial failure to do so. Unlike most other competitors, however, he is not only the first ever imoogi, but his initial failure to ascend was an active choice he made to be with a human lover. He is friends with Yeongno and has no human assistant.
