Eldmed is one of the Four Evil Kings and a demon of legendary power from the Mythical Age, where he earned the title Blaze Death King. He now works as a homeroom teacher in Anos' class.
He's known for being arrogant and dismissive toward most opponents, though he'll openly respect anyone strong enough to warrant it. His obsession with powerful beings is so intense and long-lasting that most people find him genuinely unsettling—only his subordinates seem comfortable around him. The guy's been fixated on the same things for thousands of years.
During the Mythical Age, Eldmed was one of Dilhade's most formidable demons, but his whole world shifted when he fought the Demon King Anos and lost. That defeat sparked an obsession that never really went away. He became determined to witness the full extent of Anos' power and what he might transcend into, repeatedly challenging him just to test his limits. He even went out of his way to create worthy opponents for Anos, screening various human warriors in hopes of finding someone who could actually compete with the Demon King. The only candidate who came close was Hero Kanon, though even he ultimately fell short.
