Kanae is an S-Rank hunter from the Draw Sword Guild in Japan. She's known for her striking appearance—long black hair, blood-red eyes, purple lipstick, and black nails—along with visibly toned muscles and a six-pack she's clearly worked hard to maintain. She has black tattoos covering her chest and arms, and when she taps into her powers, her eyes glow an intense red.
Personality-wise, she takes things seriously and genuinely looks out for her teammates, like when she snapped at Kumamoto during a panic spiral to keep him from getting himself killed. That said, she's got a short fuse. She blew up at Hoshino for constantly doom-spiraling about their odds against the Ant King, and she was furious—and frankly had every right to be—when she got stuck dealing with the corpses left behind after Jinwoo's shadow army tore through giants during the Tokyo Crisis. Being the cleanup crew while everyone else fought the real battle clearly got under her skin.
