Jin Asukai shows up as one of the main antagonists in Boogiepop Returns: VS Imaginator Part 1. He's a college student who works part-time as an art teacher and counselor at a cram school, and he's also an MPLS—one of those synthesized humans with special abilities. The Imaginator got to him after her defeat at Boogiepop's hands, convincing him to help her out with her plan to basically remake society from the ground up. He buys into her vision pretty hard, which is what drives his role in the story.
