A dental assistant who spends her days working in town, The Lady is best known for teaching the protagonist Aoyama chess in her spare time. Beyond that fairly normal setup, she has a genuinely bizarre ability: she can spawn penguins from everyday objects. Fans have noted that the mechanics of this power remain pretty murky—it's unclear what objects work, under what conditions, or honestly much of anything else about it. It's one of those things that just. happens, and nobody really questions it.
