Luis is a Brazilian soldier who's known for his genuine kindness and consideration toward others. His English isn't great, which put him at odds with most of the other soldiers—but it actually made it easier for him to connect with Kotarou, who didn't mind the language barrier. He treats Kotarou like a brother, which makes him carry a lot of guilt about whatever he did before joining Guardian. That past weighs on him pretty heavily.
