Menma Namikaze appears in episode 427, existing as an Uzumaki descendant within Tenten's Infinite Tsukuyomi dream.
Unlike Naruto, Menma grew up with both parents intact and a solid group of friends. Kurama was transferred safely from Kushina to Menma early on, allowing him to keep his mother while eventually bonding with the Nine-Tailed Beast. After the Academy, he joined Team Kakashi alongside Sakura and Sasuke, eventually making chūnin.
He takes after his father more than Naruto does—calm, measured, and deliberate rather than loud and impulsive. Menma speaks only when he has something to say, thinks carefully before acting, and has a sharp enough mind that he comes across as the smartest of his class. He naturally ends up leading the group, though his distance and lack of respect toward others—even his own parents—keeps him from being warm about it. He has zero interest in romance despite Sakura and Hinata's best efforts, just asking them to back off.
That said, he's genuinely loyal to friends. When Tenten got framed for treason, Menma went out of his way to clear her name, having apparently kept tabs on her for a while. He even admitted her problems were getting to him. He can show a real smile too—he openly congratulated Tenten after helping him beat Hanzō.
Visually, Menma's almost identical to Naruto but with longer, shaggier blond hair styled with jaw-length bangs like his father's. He wears the same black-and-orange Part II outfit Naruto does, complete with black fingerless gloves and a long black headband. His jacket's back features a green circle with five red circles (one center, four cardinal points) connected by crossed lines, with two more red circles stacked above and below.
