Santo is a Pokémon Connoisseur who showed up in "Performing with Fiery Charm!" as a one-off character. He judged the Rookie Class Pokémon Showcase in Dendemille Town alongside Gena and Delilah.
During the Theme Performance round, his Mime Jr. tasted the Poké Puffs that each contestant had made, ultimately helping to send Miette, Jessilia, and Serena through to the next stage. When it came time for the Freestyle Performance, Santo voted with the rest of the audience to crown a winner—and he cast his vote for Miette.
