Mika and Andrea's father is a character from "A Corsola Caper!" who runs a jewelry shop in Megi City on Yellow Rock Isle alongside his two daughters. He's best known for his work crafting jewelry from naturally shed Corsola horns—a sustainable practice he runs with Mika and Andrea's help.
When Ash's group saved Mika from a dangerous whirlpool, he showed up to thank them and invited everyone back to his shop to see his operation. He'd built up a sizable collection of Corsola living on the island, each with its own nickname that he knew well enough to call out individually.
The family got caught up in Team Rocket's usual chaos while searching for missing Corsola, but Ash and company helped recover the stolen jewelry and round up the wild Pokémon. By the time things settled down, Misty managed to catch one of the Corsola, and the shopkeeper waved goodbye to the group as they left.
He showed up again briefly in a flashback during "Espeon, Not Included."
