Harry starts out as the bratty young Prince of Coburg—spoiled, difficult, and generally a handful. When his father Pankraz gets called to the kingdom, he brings Harry along. It doesn't take long before the kid gets snatched by thugs, forcing Pankraz and the hero to mount a rescue. They nearly pull it off, but Bishop Ladja catches them before they can escape the ruins. He kills Pankraz on the spot and hauls both boys off to the Mount Azimuth slave camp, where things get a lot darker from there.
