Nanako Imai
Nanako's a devoted Ippo fan—like, seriously devoted. When we first meet her, she's 16 and in high school, and she basically treats Mashiba Kumi as her romantic rival. She's constantly trying to outdo Kumi and get closer to Ippo whenever possible. There was this one time she actually tried to kiss him while he was passed out after a brutal match, but Kumi caught her in the act.
She inherited the family good looks from her older brother Manabu, and like the rest of the Imai household, she's got a terrible weakness for puns. Her brother's rival Imai Kyousuke is completely into her, but she's not interested—she pretty much brushes off his feelings and wants nothing to do with dating him.
