Nao is Laala's best friend at Paprika Private Academy and the more idol-obsessed of the two. She's got long brown hair down to her mid-back, usually held back with a white headband decorated with yellow flowers, and hazel eyes. She comes across as laid-back and genuinely caring, though her enthusiasm for idols is pretty clear from the start.
Unlike Laala, who stumbles into idol life by accident, Nao's actually been dreaming about becoming an idol for a while. She's got real knowledge of the idol world and wastes no time showing Laala the PriTicket she scored, even hiding it in a custom pocket she sewed into the back of her collar. Gloria caught on anyway and confiscated it, making Nao one of the girls to lose her ticket in Episode 1.
The funny part is that even after Nao tells Laala all about her PriTicket and her idol dreams, she somehow never figures out that Laala's secretly become an idol herself.
