Before her death, she'd come into possession of the Rainy Devil's left arm—the infamous "monkey's paw" oddity—while the occultist Deishuu Kaiki was entrusted with the Rainy Devil's head. That she held one of these powerful artifacts suggests she wasn't just casually interested in oddities; she had genuine knowledge and connections in that world.
Her philosophy was blunt and memorable: "If you can't be medicine, be poison. Otherwise you're nothing but water." It says something about her character—uncompromising, practical, and dismissive of mediocrity.
