A hulking ghoul with white hair and sharp, reptilian eyes, Yamori is an executive of Aogiri Tree and genuinely lives up to his intimidating appearance. He's typically dressed in an all-white suit over a black dress shirt—the kind of outfit that screams organized crime.
Yamori's sadism didn't come from nowhere. During his own torture, he adopted the personality of his interrogator as a coping mechanism, and it stuck. This twisted adaptation shaped him into the monster he became. Notably, he was far smaller and leaner before his torture; his current bulk is a direct result of that brutality and the ghoul cannibalism that followed. The transformation mirrors what happened to Kaneki after Yamori got his hands on him.
He's manipulative and ruthless, willing to do whatever it takes to get what he wants. The 13th Ward knows better than to cross him—there's barely anyone there with the guts to try. His nickname, Jason, comes from the Friday the 13th slasher films, and he sometimes wears a hockey mask as a nod to Jason Voorhees. The fact that he dominates the 13th Ward makes the reference even more fitting.
