Eri Yasuda is an orphan who was raised by Katsuyo alongside Ami, making her Ami's older foster sister. As a teenager, she took on much of the responsibility for looking after the younger kids in the household—a role that brought her and Ami especially close. She's the one who got Ami interested in martial arts in the first place, having trained in it herself during those years.
She's an attractive woman with long hair who tends to dress casually and feminine. On the surface, Eri comes across as calm and genuinely kind to people around her. But there's a darker edge underneath. Back in her youth, she had a reputation as a tough, no-nonsense delinquent who could scare people half to death when provoked. That side of her doesn't go away completely—when Ami does something foolish, Eri's been known to threaten her with, well, actual burial. Cross her hard enough and she transforms into what could only be described as a "blood-hungry and wrathful demoness," throwing herself into violent confrontations with complete disregard for stopping. The only person who's managed to pull her back once she's in that state is Ami herself.
As an adult, she spent some time caring for her grandmother. Eventually, she got engaged to Takumi, and that's when she and Katsuyo relocated to Miura.
