Makoto's a young witch who just transferred to Aomori, Japan. She's got an easygoing, friendly vibe and stays pretty calm even when things get weird. The main thing she struggles with is directions—she gets lost constantly, though she's gradually figuring the area out.
She moved in with her relatives instead of doing the traditional thing. In the witch world, fifteen-year-olds are considered adults and expected to live independently, but her parents pushed for her to finish high school first.
