Unnamed Nobleman
A high-ranking noble with the title of Marquis who lives a comfortable life in the upper districts. He's best known for being friends with Pixis, the two of them spending their time playing casual chess matches together.
When word reaches him about the Trost invasion in 850, his true priorities become clear. Rather than concern himself with the commoners under attack, he begs Pixis to stay behind and defend his estate and possessions instead of rushing to the battlefield. He dismisses the dying lower-class citizens as disposable—basically trash not worth saving. It's a pretty blunt example of how little the nobility cared about ordinary people during the crisis.
