Mikoto—usually called Mikorin—is best known as one of Nozaki's manga assistants and Yuu Kashima's closest friend. He's got a reputation for being a total flirt who draws attention from basically everyone at school, but here's the thing: it's all an act. Behind the confident smirk is someone genuinely timid who cringes hard at his own behavior the moment he's alone. That contradiction is actually what inspired Nozaki's main heroine character, which is kind of perfect.
When it comes to manga work, Mikoto's pretty useful despite his limitations. He can't draw characters or standalone objects to save his life, but he's genuinely talented with flowers, effects, and accessories—the stuff that makes characters pop on the page. His preference in real life leans toward girls who are gentle and innocent, though ironically, most of them are way too nervous around him to ever approach.
