Lilia showed up in "A Keeper for Keeps?!" while searching for her lost Buneary. She ran into Ash and the group, and after they helped track down her Pokémon, things got weird fast—Bonnie immediately started pushing her brother Clemont on Lilia, like she always does with pretty much every girl they meet. Except this time, Lilia actually said yes.
Turns out Lilia's the daughter of the president of Orangics, a major robotics company, which probably helped smooth things over. She and Clemont hit it off pretty quickly once she learned about his obsession with inventing gadgets. They got genuinely friendly with each other, which didn't sit well with Bonnie at all—she got jealous watching her brother give Lilia so much attention, despite the whole thing being her idea in the first place.
