Azuma
Azuma is one of the series' main characters and the pilot of Oubu, the heart of the Buranki—basically the core that makes the whole thing run. He grew up on Treasure Island alongside his twin sister and their parents in what the public calls the "Buranki Nest."
People often draw comparisons between Azuma and his mother, Migiwa, who earned herself a reputation as a "witch" among those who knew about her. The comparison tends to stick with him throughout the story.
