Sherry is a petite girl, standing around 140 cm—roughly chest-height to average women. She's small and thin with a genuinely lovely appearance, though her body has a mature build rather than a childish one. Her face is bright and expressive, featuring a slightly upturned nose, large striking eyes, and a small mouth. Michio has noted she has an interesting look—distinctly Japanese features mixed with something Italian. Her thick black hair is short and naturally curly at the shoulders.
Her family fell into hardship when her older brother was severely injured in the labyrinth. Since their father lacked much talent and the older brother was the main earner, medical costs quickly pushed them into serious debt. Rather than dig deeper into loans, Sherry volunteered to sell herself into slavery. Her younger siblings were too small to work, and obviously her injured older brother couldn't be sold, so it made practical sense. She'd already washed out as both a Master Smith and a Shrine Maiden candidate anyway. On the upside, most slave owners speak Brahim, so she saw the arrangement as a real opportunity to learn the language—and in this world, speaking Brahim opens up a lot of job possibilities.
In combat, Sherry fights with either a spear or hammer, relying on the natural strength dwarves possess. She's intelligent and doesn't hesitate to question Michio's decisions or knowledge. What really sets her apart is her broad understanding of dungeons and monsters—she regularly identifies enemy weaknesses, explains what monster cards do, and generally keeps the group informed about threats.
