Naka Uchiha was a shinobi from Konohagakure's Uchiha clan and close comrade of Naori Uchiha. He awakened both the Sharingan and Mangekyō Sharingan, though he became dangerously obsessed with the Izanagi technique—using it so frequently that Naori eventually intervened by trapping him in Izanami to force him to confront reality. The technique worked; Naka broke free from the loop and finally accepted the truth.
As a fighter, he demonstrated solid kenjutsu skills and carried a sword into combat. His real talent, though, lay in his mastery of the Uchiha's dōjutsu abilities.
