Orpheus Zevon is the protagonist of Code Geass: Oz the Reflection. Born into the Britannia nobility as the twin brother of Oldrin, he was cast out as an infant—a family tradition among the Zevons, who pass their name and title through the female line and discard male heirs. Raised by commoners with no memory of his origins, he was eventually recruited by the Geass Order, where V.V. implanted him with a Transformation Geass in his left eye.
The Order essentially kept him as a lab rat for years, forcing him to develop and refine his abilities under brutal conditions. The only thing that made those days bearable was Euria, another Geass user he fell in love with while imprisoned there.
These days, Orpheus operates as a mercenary and terrorist working for an organization called Peace Mark. He takes jobs without question—doesn't care who's hiring or why—driven entirely by a personal vendetta against whoever took Euria from him. His upbringing shows in his rough demeanor, though traces of aristocratic breeding slip through occasionally. He's become known by the codename "Oz."
