Chuuta Kokonose is an eighth-grader living with his aunt after his parents are absent from his life. He's genuinely good-natured and talented at home economics, but his lack of confidence keeps him isolated—people write him off as weird because he talks to himself constantly. The thing is, there's actually a voice in his head that won't shut up, and it's been distracting him his entire life. He can't help it, but everyone assumes he's just being strange.
That voice turns out to be Drew, a Monitalien from a lost alien race who's been living inside him all along. When Chuuta gets recruited by the Space Police Agency ēlDLIVE after passing their entrance exam (mostly thanks to Drew's help), his life changes pretty dramatically. He wasn't thrilled about joining at first—Drew basically pushed him into it, and he was partly motivated by wanting to prove something to Misuzu, who'd been mocking him. But as time goes on, he actually commits to the job and the mission behind it.
Abilities
Because Drew shares Chuuta's body, he needs Chuuta's imagination to take physical form and fight. Chuuta basically weaponizes what he's learned from home economics, turning his domestic skills into their combat strategies. It's an unusual setup, but it works.
