Johnny's a bartender who also runs a food-trading operation out of Rob's Bar, located in the City of Oasis. Before the main story kicks off, he'd actually hired ten ex-pro wrestlers to assassinate the Colonel and put an end to his tyrannical rule—but the Colonel wiped them out without breaking a sweat.
After Ken and Bat rescue him from Burō, Johnny learns about the Golan threat and repays them with two days of free food at his bar. Later on, he takes responsibility for looking after Toyo's orphans while Kenshirō heads out to deal with Jackal and his gang. The last we see of him, he's rushing to meet Ken when he returns to Oasis victorious.
