Baron runs the Scorpion gang, locked in a territorial war with the rival Snakes over control of the city—which obviously puts regular people caught in the crossfire at serious risk. When Joker shows up and proposes they team up to take down Kenshiro, Baron and his associate Junk agree to a temporary truce.
Of course, neither gang leader is being entirely honest. Both are actually trying to recruit Kenshiro to their side, figuring a fighter that strong would give them a major edge. But Kenshiro sees through it—he realizes Baron would just eliminate him the moment he's no longer useful.
When things escalate into a full fight, Kenshiro turns the tables on both of them. He kills them both using a technique that forces them into a fatal embrace with each other, essentially using their own combined weight and positioning against them. It's a brutal way to go out, but that's kind of his style.
