Grafaiai is a small, moody lemur-like Pokémon — think aye-aye or loris vibes. Its upper half is mostly black (giving off serious hoodie energy), while its forearms and lower body are dark bluish-gray with white stripes down the thighs and a bushy tail. It's got a distinctive white face with huge yellow-green eyes framed by purple lids, a short snout packed with four nostrils, sharp teeth, and four blonde tufts sticking up from its forehead. Its ears are pretty prominent too.
The really wild part? Its hands. Each one has three fingers, but the middle finger is comically long compared to the others — like, several times longer. These fingers are constantly coated in Grafaiai's poisonous saliva, and you'll always see two drips hanging from the right hand.
Grafaiai's basically a loner with an attitude. It's territorial as hell and will throw down with other Pokémon, even other Grafaiai, if they cross into its space. The poison in its saliva is brightly colored and actually changes hue based on what Grafaiai's been eating — mainly Berries and Bug-type Pokémon. When threatened, the poison gets way more potent and can leave victims paralyzed for about three days.
Here's where it gets clever: Grafaiai is nocturnal, and at night it licks its poisoned hands and uses them like paintbrushes to draw patterns on trees. This marks its territory and lures in Bug-types with the saliva's sweet smell. The poison immobilizes any prey it attracts, leaving them trapped until Grafaiai collects them at dawn. Each individual has its own signature pattern that it'll repaint over and over throughout its life.
Grafaiai evolves from Shroodle.
