Alhaitham is the Scribe of the Sumeru Akademiya and a member of the Haravatat—basically the guy responsible for documenting the Akademiya's research and writing their official policies. He's genuinely brilliant and talented, but there's something deliberately detached about him. He doesn't seem interested in climbing the ranks or seeking more power, which confuses people given his obvious ego and intellect. His unwillingness to compromise on rationality and truth has rubbed plenty of colleagues the wrong way over the years.
There's something deliberately stylish about his whole aesthetic. He wears a dark, high-collared coat that's open on one side, with a green front and black lapels that fade to black. The coat's loaded with gold trim, dangling trinkets, and a small black cape with a golden lining—he's clearly someone who knows how to make an entrance. His left arm is covered by the coat's oversized sleeve while his right stays exposed. Underneath, he's got a fitted black turtleneck with a split collar, detached sleeves with gold details, and a green ornament at the chest. His arm sleeves are long enough to partially cover his hands, with just certain fingers showing. A mix of gold-patterned green fabrics cinches his waist, holding various charms and teardrop-shaped trinkets in place. He rounds it out with dark green pants and black-and-gold knee-high boots. His Dendro Vision hangs from his left shoulder.
