Toku is a Len Town resident who showed up in The Psychic Sidekicks! He was out fishing with his Mr. Mime when Team Rocket rolled up in a giant Gengar mecha and snatched the Pokémon right out from under him. He tried fighting back—had Mr. Mime hit the robot with Psywave—but the mirrors built into the mecha's eyes just bounced the attack straight back at them.
After losing his partner, Toku hauled it back to town and warned everyone about the massive Ghost-type prowling around. His heads-up got the townspeople to barricade themselves indoors before the mecha showed up, though Mrs. Bellows's Abra ended up getting taken too. Ash and his crew stepped in to handle Team Rocket, and they managed to take down the trio with help from Cherry's Girafarig and its Future Sight attack.
