The Invincible Pokémon Brothers
The Invincible Pokémon Brothers—also known as the Three Fighting Brothers—are a trio of arrogant trainers from Viridian City who specialize in Fighting-type Pokémon. There's Kim, the short one who claims to be the strongest trainer in the city; Kai, the heavyset middle brother; and Kail, the tallest of the three. According to them, they rank first, second, and third respectively, though that ranking is pure self-delusion.
These guys are basically all swagger and no substance. They brag about being world-famous and love throwing their weight around against anyone they think is weaker. Scratch beneath the surface, though, and you've got three petty cheaters who'll bend—or outright break—every rule in the book. Their go-to moves include faking knockouts to sucker-punch unsuspecting opponents or having all three brothers gang up when one of them is losing. They're so delusional about it that they genuinely don't think they're doing anything wrong. Call them out on their dirty tactics and they'll argue back that they played fair and square.
The worst part? When they actually got called out by Misty for having two Tentacruel pile onto her Corsola in what was supposed to be a one-on-one match, they doubled down, insisting the whole thing was legitimate. Nurse Joy disqualified them and banned them from official tournaments. Rather than accept it, the brothers escalated—they had their Tentacruel poison Misty's Gyarados and didn't hesitate to attack Misty herself when she jumped in to protect her Pokémon. They were literally laughing while she was in danger of drowning. When defeat finally became unavoidable, though, they fell apart completely, panicking and trying to surrender before getting blasted off by their own Pokémon.
