Athena comes from the Tennousu family and is best known as Hayate's first girlfriend and Mistress—they met a decade ago when he was just a kid and called her "A-tan" for short. She's primarily a manga character; the anime only briefly shows her in a flashback scene when Hayate thinks back on that early relationship. Not much is known about her parents, who are either missing or deceased—she lived on her own for most of the series.
